I am going to get a lot of "hates gonna hate" from this, but I've never liked going to SF. The act of getting there sucks, be in driving through traffic, or the 1.5+ hours of train ride (plus waiting, getting to the station, etc.). Anyway, this was one of the few walks where I came back disappointed with the pics that I got. I suspect it's probably because we spent more time driving in SF to get to places than actually taking pictures. Oh well, can't get good pictures every time, right? All pictures taken with the Sony NEX 6 and the Sigma 19mm f2.8 lens.
Walked around AT&T Park for a bit before heading to lunch.
We went to Blackwood for lunch (Thai food). Oh yeah, another reason I don't like going to SF? It's so expensive! Foord was decent enough.
Random "street photography," mostly around the Academy of Science.
Some more pics around de Young Museum.
The Caltrain station as I am waiting to go home.
The sad thing is, I got a boba craving and got off the train in Mountain View (Castro). Had to take another train an hour later, which was actually just about right, timing-wise.
I tried to do more random people street portraitures, but still don't have the personality to go up to strangers and strike up a conversation and snap their pics. That's something I will hopefully get a lot better at.
